The SEPTA system is a network of buses, trolleys, subway/elevated lines and Regional Rail trains. SEPTA connects the entire region of Philadelphia and its four surrounding suburban counties with nearly 200 routes, and some routes extend into Delaware and New Jersey. The fifth largest transit authority in the country, SEPTA carries almost one million people each workday.
