Tip #7 - Regional Rail Schedule Changes

On Sunday, August 6, 2006 new timetables will go into effect on the following Regional Rail Lines: Warminster (R2), Paoli/Thorndale (R5), Lansdale/Doylestown (R5), Norristown (R6), Chestnut Hill West/Fox Chase (R8), and Glenside/Combined

Warminster (R2)

Midday, weekday (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) shuttle buses will substitute for train service between Jenkintown and Warminster Stations. Pick up a special supplemental schedule and information brochure.

• Train # 4208 will depart 3 minutes later beginning at University City Station

Paoli/Thorndale (R5)

• Train #9522 will depart 2 minutes earlier beginning at Bryn Mawr Station at 7:02 a.m.

• Train #9526 (Great Flyer) will depart 4 minutes earlier between Thorndale and Malvern Stations beginning at 6:52 a.m. and 1 minute earlier between Paoli and Market East Stations

• Train #9002 (Local) will depart 3 minutes earlier beginning at Bryn Mawr Station at 7:09 a.m.

• Service on the 6:45 p.m. train (#575) from Suburban Station will be extended to Exton, Whitford, Downingtown, and Thorndale Stations

• Train #584 will depart 3 minutes later beginning at Thorndale Station at 5:39 p.m. and 1-2 minutes later between Paoli and Haverford Stations

Lansdale/Doylestown (R5)

• Weekday, midday trains service returns and Train #4711 (North Penn Limited) will depart 3 minutes earlier beginning at Doylestown Station at 6:41 a.m.

Norristown (R6)

• Train #4622 will depart 3 minutes earlier beginning at University City at 7:27 a.m.

Chestnut Hill West (R8)

• Service towards Chestnut Hill is being adjusted
