SEPTA and CCT Connect require customers in a wheelchair or scooter to properly secure their device while riding on our vehicles.  Paratransit operators must be able to clearly secure your device in four locations of non-movable parts, while SEPTA bus operators are permitted to attach securements in three out of four identifiable locations.

Trainers of mobility travel and SEPTA operators have commented back to CCT concerned about newer chairs not having the required securement locations or the fact these locations are simply not visible.  Fueled by concern, many are asking us what they can to do to address these concerns themselves.  In response, CCT is providing this list of manufacturers who offer wheelchair securement kits to help ensure your wheelchair or scooter will easily comply with SEPTA requirements.
