Notice of Public Meeting

2009 ANNUAL DBE GOAL AND METHODOLOGY

SEPTA is initiating the development of the Authority’s Federal Fiscal Year 2009 Annual DBE Goal which is required by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and pursuant to the Federal Regulations 49 CFR, Part 26 to be submitted by August 1, 2008.  A public meeting is being held to provide disadvantaged businesses and other business enterprises, public agencies, and elected officials and interested individuals an opportunity to offer comments.  The date, time and location of the meeting follows:

Friday, May 23, 2008
11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting is to receive input regarding SEPTA’s 2009 Annual DBE Goal.  This input will be considered during the preparation of the Authority’s Federal Fiscal Year 2009 DBE Goal and Methodology.  Following this meeting, the goal will be published and available for review and comment by June 15, 2008.

Please register your attendance using one of the RSVP forms listed below by no later than Monday, May 19, 2008.  Additionally, comments on the annual goal and methodology can also be emailed to DBEProgram@septa.org or mailed to the following address:
