SERVICE INFORMATION

SEPTA will be nearly doubling its normal Sunday service for this cycling event.  Customers traveling to the race may find it most convenient to ride to Manayunk Station, near the corner of Carson & Cresson Street.  This makes reaching "The Wall" and other prime viewing spots within easy walking distance of the SEPTA station.

Service begins to Manayunk Station with Train #4205 from
     Elm Street-Norristown
Norristown (R6) trains will run every 30 minutes beginning with
Train #4207, the 7:48 a.m. departure from Elm Street-Norristown and
Train #6600, the 7:20 a.m. departure from 30th Street Station, until
     approximately 9 p.m.
Additional late-night service will depart Manayunk Station heading towards
Elm Street-Norristown and Center City Philadelphia.

Please consult the special Norristown (R6) schedule for exact train times and stop information.

If you are transferring to the Norristown (R6) Line, please take note:
Normal Sunday schedules are in effect for all other Regional Rail Lines.
Please check the Regional Rail schedules to ensure your return trip can
     be completed.
Late-night connections to the Market-Frankford El or Broad Street
Line after approximately 12:30 a.m. should be made at street level with
Night Owl bus service.  This weekend is also an El Shutdown weekend.

FARES

Fares will vary based on the origin and destination of travel.  Wissahickon and Manayunk are Zone 2 stations while East Falls is a Zone 1 station.

Customers may notice many different pricing options when calculating their fare.  Please remember an advanced ticket is a ticket you purchase before getting on the train and carries a cost savings over an on-board ticket, which is a ticket you buy once on the train.

For travel between Manayunk, Wissahickon or East Falls and any other Norristown (R6) Line station you may purchase an Intermediate Branch ticket either in advance, or on-board the train.  Intermediate Branch tickets are not valid for travel to/from Center City Philadelphia zone stations.

If you are transferring from another Regional Rail line to the Norristown (R6) Line at any of the Center City Philadelphia stations, make sure you purchase a 'via Center City' fare either in advance, or on-board at the start of your trip.

Tickets are always available for purchase in advance online at shop.SEPTA.org.  Please remember to allow adequate order processing time to receive your tickets by mail.

PARKING

Parking at SEPTA Regional Rail stations is free on weekends.  Use the clickable rail map to determine the parking capacity at your nearest station.

In accordance to its normal operating hours, the Norristown Transportation Center Garage will remain closed on Sunday, June 8.
