Several SEPTA Bus Routes Detoured On Sunday In Center City Due To The Running Of The 14th Annual Philadelphia Marathon

PHILADELPHIA, PA  – On Sunday, November 18, a number of SEPTA bus routes will be operated on detours in Center City Philadelphia due to the 14th Annual Philadelphia Marathon.

Routes 2, 9, 21, 25, 27, 32, 33, 35, 38, 40, 42, 43, 44, 48, 57, 61, 64, 65, 124/125, C, and R will operate on local detours from 7 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m. Nearly 15,000 participants are expected to lace up and take to the streets of Center City in three races throughout the day – the marathon, 8K, and half marathon.

The marathon begins on the Ben Franklin Parkway at 22nd Street, and will wind through Center City, Fairmont Park, and Manayunk en route to the finish line at the Art Museum on the Parkway.

The run will conclude a weekend of family oriented fitness events including the Health & Fitness Expo and the Kid’s Fun Run.
