Sports Express Service Ready to Roar for Panthers-Eagles

PHILADELPHIA, PA - SEPTA will operate Broad Street Line “Sports Express” service to Monday night’s conference battle between the Eagles and visiting Carolina Panthers.

Sports Express trains will operate every 10 minutes between 6:15 p.m. and 8:05 p.m. from Fern Rock Transportation Center en route to Pattison Station and Lincoln Financial Field for the scheduled 8:30 p.m. kickoff.

Sports Express trains make limited stops en route serving the Olney Transportation Center, Erie, Girard, Spring Garden, Race-Vine, City Hall and Walnut-Locust Stations before ending at Pattison Station and the South Philadelphia Sports Complex.

The Express trip from City Hall to the Sports Complex takes only about eight minutes. In addition, local trains will also be in service about every 12 minutes. Local trains take about 15 minutes to travel between City Hall and Pattison Stations. Fans will find trains standing by to provide express and local service back to Fern Rock after the game.

Fans planning to drive into Center City to board Broad Street Line trains may park at discounted prices ($5.00) at one of five city-owned parking lots and purchase a two-pack of SEPTA tokens for $2.60 at the lots.The Broad Street Line City Hall Station is a short walk away from the parking lots.

The parking lots include:

  • AutoPark – JFK Plaza Garage – 15th & Arch Streets
  • AutoPark – Center City Lot – 15th & Arch Streets
  • Gateway Garage – 15th & Vine Streets
  • AutoPark – Gallery Mall – 10th & Filbert Streets
  • AutoPark – Jefferson – 10th & Ludlow Street

This football season the SEPTA Broad Street Line service is carrying an average of about 8,000 fans to each Eagles home game. Information on all SEPTA service is available online or by calling (215) 580-7800.
