SEPTA Broad Street Line Service Scores With Eagles Fans More than 11,700 fans used SEPTA Broad Street Line service to Eagles-Cowboys game on Sunday October 11, 2006 Bolstered by the new standing room only ticket holders, the Broad Street Line offered Eagles fans the best route to the game as they avoided the dense automobile traffic coming into the area of the South Philadelphia Sports Complex from I-95 and Broad Street. This is only my second time taking the Broad Street Line to the game. I feel sorry for those people driving down there because the traffic is just crazy, said one Broad Street Line rider. I have never seen so many people stuck in so much traffic! I drove my car down there once and I learned my lesson! Taking the Broad Street Line is the best way," said another Broad Street Line fan. SEPTA Broad Street Line service operates on-time 99% of the time. In addition to offering fans regular local and express trains, SEPTA Sports Express trains are operated for every Eagles home game. Broad Street Line Sports Express trains make limited stops between Fern Rock Transportation and Pattison Station at the South Philadelphia Sports Complex. The express trip from City Hall takes only about eight minutes. Local trains take only 11 minutes to travel to the Sports Complex from City Hall. After the game, local and express trains stand by to provide northbound service to Fern Rock.
