Schedules Change for SEPTA City Transit Division and Suburban Transit Division Frontier District Routes on Sunday

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Schedules will change on Sunday, September 3 for a number of SEPTA City Transit Division and Suburban Transit Division Frontier District routes.
New timetables are available now at SEPTA sales offices, on vehicles and at SEPTA transportation districts.For additional information riders can call SEPTA Customer Service at (215) 580-7800.
SEPTA makes schedule changes to City Transit Division and Suburban Transit Division Frontier District routes three times a year to meet the changing transit needs and requirements of riders in the region.
In the City Transit Division, bus boarding locations at Frankford Transportation Center (FTC) have changed for a number of bus routes due to the opening of a new SEPTA 1,000 space automobile parking garage, located on Bustleton Avenue north of Bridge Street.Riders that use any of the 16 bus routes that operate to or from FTC should access the SEPTA website or call SEPTA Customer Service for specific boarding locations.Riders can also visit the Customer Service desk at FTC for additional boarding information.
Suburban Transit Division Frontier District changes will include the start of new service on bus Route 92.The revised routing will combine portions of Route 92 with current Route 133 service.Route 92 will now operate between West Chester and King of Prussia while Route 133 will be discontinued.
Route 92 service between West Chester and Exton Square Mall will remain unchanged, however, between Exton and King of Prussia the route will follow the current Route 133 routing.The new route will feature select "Express" trips operating between King of Prussia and the intersection of Swedesford Road and Chesterbrook Boulevard.Weekday peak hour service will operate hourly while mid-day and evening service as well as Saturday service will operate every 90 minutes.
Other significant changes to City Transit Division routes include:
- Route 27--on weekdays the last southbound trip will leave Plymouth Meeting Mall at 11:15 p.m. en route to Broad Street & Washington Avenue.
- Route 31--due to construction the bus route will continue to be detoured from City Avenue with buses operating between Haverford and Lansdowne Avenues and 63rd Street.From 63rd Street, eastbound the bus route will operate on Chestnut Street to 46th Street.Westbound the bus route will operate over Walnut Street to 63rd Street.
- Route 37--weekday operating times have been revised to reflect new service to Harrah’s Chester Casino and Racetrack.
- Route 52--due to construction the bus route continues to operate on a temporary detour using Conshohocken Road and Belmont Avenue.
- Route C--weekday trips to Sheaf Lane have been discontinued.
Changes to Suburban Transit Division Frontier District bus routes include:
- Routes 94-96 --on weekdays and weekends running times have been increased due to construction underway at Montgomery County Community College.
- Route 95--all trips to and from Plymouth Meeting Mall will provide direct service to the SEPTA regional rail Route R6 Conshohocken Station.Weekday evening service has been altered due to low ridership.
- Route 99--on weekdays and weekends new service will be operated on Shannondell Boulevard between Trooper Road and Egypt Road in the Audubon area.
- Route 113--beginning September 10, the bus route will operate to Harrah’s Chester Casino and Racetrack.The route will originate and terminate in Marcus Hook at Green & 4th Streets.
Route 124--new service along Swedesford Road will offer direct access to Valley Fair and Swedesford Plaza Shopping Centers.In addition, buses will enter the Chesterbrook development along the western end of Chesterbrook Boulevard for service to the office complex.Service along Valley Forge Road and portions of Chesterbrook Boulevard will be discontinued. Route 129--the route will now operate into Oxford Valley Mall.In addition, schedule adjustments have been made to improve on-time performance.
