Schedules Change for SEPTA Suburban Transit Victory District Bus and Trolley Routes on Monday August 24, 2006 New timetables are available now at SEPTA sales offices, on vehicles and at SEPTA transportation districts. The schedules will also be available on the SEPTA web site at www.septa.org. For additional information riders should call the SEPTA Travel Information Center at (215) 580-7800. Schedule changes which are made three times a year, are a part of SEPTAs overall effort to improve service in the region. As part of the schedule changes SEPTA has altered and improved service on bus Route 107 by consolidating services with bus Route 122.Due to the development of new Route 107 service Route 122 will be discontinued. New Route 107 service will operate between 69th Street Terminal, Springfield Mall and Lawrence Park. Service between 69th Street Terminal and Oakview will remain unchanged. At Oakview the route will travel on a portion of Burmont Road to Garrett Road and then follow current Route 122 service to Springfield Mall. As a result, service along certain portions of Burmont Road (Dennison Avenue to Baltimore Pike), and Baltimore Pike (Burmont Road to Oak Avenue) will be discontinued. At the Springfield Mall, Route 107 service will be extended to Lawrence Park using Sproul Road for riders in Ridley, Morton and Springfield. At Springfield Mall Route 107 riders can now connect with SEPTA Routes 101, 109, and 110 for service to Lawrence Park. At Lawrence Park Route 107 will also connect with SEPTA bus Route 112 for service to Delaware County Community College. Other significant changes on SEPTA Suburban Transit Division Victory District routes will include: Route 104 on weekdays, a new trip will leave West Chester Pike & Sproul Road at 6:48 AM en route to 69th Street Terminal. Route 105 - weekday schedule times have been adjusted to improve service reliability.New trip times have been added leaving Paoli Hospital beginning at 6:20 a.m. Route 108 weekday mid-day servicewill now operate every 15-minutes between 69th Street Terminal and 84th & Crane Streets. New evening trips have been added to resolve overcrowding between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. and schedule times have been adjusted to improve service reliability. Route 111 new weekday trips added to the schedule will leave Chadds Ford Business Campus beginning at 6:40 a.m. en route to 69th Street Terminal. Route 119 a new weekday trip will leave Cheyney University at 6:45 a.m. en route to Chester Transportation Center. |
