Schedules Change For SEPTA City Transit Division and Suburban Transit Division Routes New timetables are available now at SEPTA sales offices, on vehicles and at SEPTA transportation districts. The schedules will also be available on the SEPTA web site at www.septa.org. For additional information riders can call SEPTA Customer Service at (215) 580-7800. SEPTA makes schedule changes to City Transit Division and Suburban Transit Division routes three times a year to meet the changing transit needs and requirements of riders in the region.
City Transit Division bus route changes effective Sunday, September 2 include: ·Route 21— early morning service will be improved with the first weekday morning trip now leaving 69th Street Terminal en route to Penns Landing at 5:23 a.m. In addition, the first morning trip will leave 69th Street Terminal on Saturdays at 6:22 a.m. and at 6:25 a.m. on Sundays. ·Route 42— the bus route will operate with a new weekday and weekend schedule between Wycombe Loop (Springton & Sherbrook Streets) and Penns Landing. ·Route 43—Sunday service has been extended from Parkside Loop (49th Street & Parkside Avenue) to Richmond & Cumberland Streets. ·Route 50—a new late night weekday trip will leave Philadelphia Park at 10:25 p.m. en route to the Frankford Transportation Center. Suburban Transit Division Schedule Changes Victory District bus and trolley route changes effective Monday, August 27: ·Route 100 (the Norristown High Speed Line)—on weekdays the 3:50 p.m. trip from the Norristown Transportation Center will operate as a Limited Express. In addition, on Saturdays afternoon service will be improved from the Norristown Transportation Center with a new Limited Express trip and a new local trip to Hughes Park added to the schedule to address overcrowding. ·Routes 103 and 115—weeknight operating times have been adjusted to better coordinate connections between the routes in Brookline. ·Route 113—weekday service has been increased between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. from 69th Street Terminal to the Chester Transportation Center.In addition, a new late night trip departing Chester Transportation Center at 1:45 a.m. en route to 69th Street Terminal has been added to the schedule. ·Route 119—In Upper and Lower Chichester Townships a new experimental routing will be implemented with service operating over Market Street and Meetinghouse Road. Service has been temporarily discontinued along Ridge, Huddle and Chichester Avenues. ·Route 123—on Saturday evenings, an extra trip departing King of Prussia Plaza en route to 69th Street Terminal will be added to the schedule to address overcrowding. ·Route 125—on Saturdays, additional afternoon service between Gulph Mills and King of Prussia Plaza will be scheduled to address overcrowding. Frontier District bus route changes effective Sunday, September 2: ·Route 94 and 96—weekdays and Saturdays, the routing will be changed to provide direct service to the new Advanced Technology Center Building at the Montgomery County Community College campus. Service along Cathcart Road, Campus Ring Road, and the DeKalb Pike access point will be discontinued. ·Route 314—weekday service will resume between West Chester and Goshen Corporate Park to the West Chester Transportation Center
