SEPTA To Operate Regular Train Service On The Market-Frankford Line This Weekend

60th Street Station to Close Tonight for 11 Months

PHILADELPHIA, PA  -- Due to predicted stormy weather, SEPTA has cancelled construction scheduled as part of the Market Street Elevated Reconstruction Project (MSE) and will operate regular train service on the line this weekend (June 3-4).

The 60th Street El Station, however, will close tonight at 8 p.m. and remain closed for about 11 months as the station is being rebuilt as part of the MSE project.All El train service will bypass the station with SEPTA bus Route 46 detoured to 56th Street Station for passengers who normally transfer to the El at 60th Street.
