PHILADELPHIA, PA  – On Saturday, April 15 at 9 a.m., thousands will lace up their running shoes and take to the streets of Fairmont Park for the 25th Annual Clean Air Council 5K Run. The race will begin and end at the steps of the Art Museum and run through Martin Luther King Drive (formerly West River Drive).

As a sponsor of the event, held in conjunction with Earth Day celebrations, SEPTA is offering a 50% discount on registration for the run for everyone that presents a valid SEPTA TransPass or TrailPass. Race day registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

In addition, participants and spectators can help reduce air pollution by using SEPTA bus Routes 7, 32, 38 and 43 to the Art Museum District for the event.SEPTA advises commuters interesting in improving air quality that just one bus removes forty cars from the roads.
