SEPTA To Detour Several Center City Bus Routes Due To Weekend Construction at Wanamaker Building

PHILADELPHIA, PA — On Sunday, February 4, from 4 a.m. until noon, SEPTA bus Routes 17, 27, 31, 32, 33, 38, 44, 48, 124/125 & C will be temporarily detoured in Center City due to construction at the Wanamaker Building. JFK Boulevard, Market, Broad, Juniper, 15th and 13th streets in the area of City Hall will be affected.
All eastbound Market Street buses (17, 33, 44, and 48) from Market Street will use Chestnut Street between 15th and 11th streets. Westbound routes (17, 33, 38, and 44) from Market Street will use Arch Street between 11th and 17th streets, JFK Blvd. and then regular route.
Route 27 southbound service will detour from Broad Street on 12th Street between Vine and Walnut streets. Northbound buses from Broad Street will use 11th Street between Locust and Arch streets, 16th Street and then regular route.
Route 31 eastbound buses will detour using Market, 16th and JFK Blvd.
Route 32 southbound detour will use 15th Street between Market Street and Washington Avenue. Northbound buses in the area will detour from Broad Street using 11th Street between Locust and Arch streets, 18th Street, then resume normal routing.
Route C northbound buses from Broad Street will use 11th Street between Locust and Arch streets before returning to regular routing on Broad Street. Southbound buses will detour from 15th & JFK Blvd., Locust, and Broad streets.
Routes 124/125 inbound service will detour Market, 16th, Vine, and 10th streets. Outbound service will use 10th, Market, 11th, Arch, 17th, and JFK Blvd. before returning to normal routing.
