SEPTA & PATCO
Riders using both SEPTA and the PATCO can save money by purchasing a SEPTA Transfer — available for $2.10 at the red machines inside the fare gates at New Jersey PATCO stations. PATCO riders can use their SEPTA Transfer for one round trip ride on any of the following SEPTA services:
• Market-Frankford Line • Broad Street Line & Broad Street Ridge-Spur • Trolley Routes 10, 11, 13, 34 & 36 • Bus Routes 2, 9, 12, 21, 23, 27, 32, 33, 38, 42, 44, 47, 47m, 48, 61, 121 & C
The SEPTA Transfer machines only accept coins, so riders may need to use the PATCO change machines in the station before entering the fare gates. The Transfer machine provides two time-stamped coupons – one for each trip. The first coupon must be used on SEPTA within 60 minutes of purchase, while the second coupon is valid for up to 24 hours (time restrictions do not apply on weekends and major holidays).
Riders can then reconnect with PATCO at their four Philadelphia stations at 8th Street, 9th/10th Street, 12th/13th Street or 15th/16th Street Stations for the trip back to New Jersey.
The PATCO High Speedline operate between Lindenwold, NJ and 15th/16th Street in Philadelphia. For additional PATCO information, call 856-722-6900 or 215-922-4600. |
