Service Advisory | Norristown High Speed Line

Weekend Opposite Side Boarding & Adjustment to Departure Times

Saturday & Sunday, November 4-5, 11-12 & 18-19, 2017 | 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Due to construction, the following changes will take effect for Saturday and Sunday trains on November 4-5, 11-12, and 18-19, 2017 beginning at 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. each day.

Opposite Side Boarding:

ALL trains will board from the OUTBOUND (toward Norristown Transportation Center) platform at the following stations:

Ardmore Jct. Roberts Rd.
Ardmore Ave. Garrett Hill
Haverford Stadium
Bryn Mawr

Adjustments to Train Departure Times:

SATURDAY SERVICE: Trains will operate with half-hourly service

Temporary Station Closure: Villanova Station

Beginning Monday, October 20 and continuing through End of Service Sunday, December 10, 2017

Due to a Villanova University construction project, there will be no train service at Villanova Station starting Monday, October 30th.

Take trains to/from Stadium (Ithan Ave.) Station

Customers should use Stadium Station, located on S. Ithan Ave., southwest of Lancaster Ave. Stadium Station is a .2 mile walk from Villanova Station. Parking will be available at the Ithan Avenue Parking Garage (S. Ithan Ave. & Lancaster Ave.).

Trains will continue to make stops at all other Norristown High Speed Line stations as regularly scheduled.

Project Information:

During construction, crews will connect the University's existing overpass to a new pedestrian bridge and walkway.

Construction is expected to last six weeks. Villanova Station is scheduled to reopen at the start of the service day Monday, December 11, 2017.

Due to track work, ALL trains will board from the INBOUND (toward 69th St. Transportation Center) platform at the following stations:

Radnor

County Line

Matsonford

Gulph Mills

Hughes Park

Temporary Parking Lot Closure | Matsonford Station

Until Further Notice

Due to an improvement project, the parking lot at Matsonford Station has temporarily closed.

As an alternate, customers should use the parking lot at Gulph Mills Station.
